I read something Tara Brach said yesterday and it stayed with me. She says that “You can think of spiritual practice as a kind of spiritual re-parenting …” This felt so true and so power-full for me…I hear often people speak about how their parents were not good in teaching this or that, and how distorted some of their behavior were….And I often speak about the cultural wounding that comes to us through our learning as we grow up. However when you are able to see these distortions, you are also at a maturity level to have a do over. At that stage you can offer yourself the best parenting with your current maturity and wisdom instead of wasting energy reflecting back. That energy you are sending back has lots of potentiality in it; lots of power to create anew and, have a significant do over…
So I will share a short yet very power-full prayer with you today as my gift for you to collect your energies from the past, and future and any other places you have sent to instead of being in 
the moment to enable and install the new…
Please sit in a comfortable position with your palms facing up; index fingers are touching your thumbs before you start the prayer so the energy comes back can come in…
“I, call my energy back from the past, from the future, from the places, from the people to the NOW. I, call my energy back from the places where I have no need to invest to the NOW…” Repeat this prayer as long as you can and feel the incoming energy back into your system…It is often comes through the palms or from the belly button area for me…You will find your own relationship to it and your own connection to it…Modify the prayer if you feel so inspired…
